Brightly Colored Guns

The City Council and the local police seem to agree. What do you think?

  1. How idiotic. Shall we ban town councils for being fools? Mikeb, we've been telling you for a long time that many weapons bans are for cosmetic features, and here comes these clowns to illustrate. Tennessee has state preemption, thank goodness, so even if Chattanooga passes a ban, it will only earn them a lawsuit and waste the city a lot of money. It's sad that the ATF might be stupid enough to play along. Perhaps I should invest in pre-ban pink gun furniture...

  2. That sounds like a good idea. So that this:

Hi, check out my cool black AR Bullet hoser.
    Awesome, let me try it.

    Can become this:

Hi, check out my AR bullet hoser. I spray painted it pink and put a Hello Kitty sticker on it.
Monster! Criminal! Get thee behind me you vial spraypainter!

  3. Historically firearms were blued (appearing black or very dark gray) and in more recent history stainless steel (silver colored) is popular. Stocks on both rifles and revolvers were available in many styles, grains, materials, and designs. I don't see how a pink hand gun is somehow a problem.
